Moodle 4 PBL

I teach at Bloomington New Tech HS – a project based high school in Bloomington, Indiana.   I am excited about the potential for change in American Education – both through a move to project based learning (PBL) and flexible online learning.  I am a huge Moodle enthusiast.

This blog has 3 purposes:

1. Storehouse for all the “stuff” I run across but don’t have time to process at the moment – This is all stored in the “Parking Lot – enter at your own risk – no promises as to what you will find.  Sorry!

2. Training Resource Site:  I hope to begin facilitating other teachers/schools in their efforts to explore PBL and specifically how moodle and other online learing tools can make this process more managable.   “Training Resources” will be my attemt to cull through the info out there for moodle and present it in an easy to use, PBL directed format.

3. Discussion area:  As a mid-ground between the raw material of the “Parking Lot” and the “Finished Items” in the training resources, I hope to have a section going where I can propose PBL/Moodle ideas for collaboration.
